Washi Tape Recycled Jars

You are going to call me crazy but sometimes I just fly away on my thoughts {ok not sometimes, most of the time..wink!} and many of those times I keep thinking and asking myself about trash. Yeah you heard me right, I think about trash. Have you thought about the amount of recyclable trash we throw away each day? Today I’m sharing these cute washi tape recycled jars and I’m explaining why I think about this.

So let’s think about this just a sec. How many times we go to stores to buy containers? Of any kind… My mom is a container buyer freak compulsive. She is always buys boxes, plastic organizer containers, small containers, and so on. And if she steps on IKEA we lost her. I love containers but sometimes I think that there are so many things we can save from the trash and will do exactly the same thing. Shoes boxes for example. A good paper mod modge or decorated contact paper and it’s as good as a bought box. Baby food jars or plastic cups, also jam jars can do the same as those plastic containers.

My mom get terrified when I keep all the jars she’s about to throw away. I clean them, dried them and put them in my crafty box. I know I’ll find a good purpose for them. And here is one of my ideas.

My sister has a baby and those recycled jars are just what she needs to put various baby stuff in it. We’ve been stacking all the food jars in a cabinet so far and now all we have to do is put some creativity upon them! Thanks for sharing here!

Those jars are definitely a great place to store many things. I have used them for all sort of things. I also have a post about recycling some baby food plastic containers, I particularly love those plastic ones better, but here where I live they come in jars, and back in Spain they come in plastic, so I don’t get them anymore! Reusing any kind of container or jars are a great way to help earth and save money in the process!!!

Glad you like my post and thank you for taking the time to stop by!!!

These are so cute! Makes me want baby food jars so I can try. Recently I’ve been doing cardboard snack boxes, I organized my bathroom drawers with them. Thanks for sharing on Snickerdoodle Sunday!

Those cardboard boxes are awesome for organizing drawers, you know my mom did?, she used Tetra Pak packages, like those from half and half cream. washed them well and used it to organize my brother’s socks and boxers. There isi so much we can do before trashing out things!!!
      XOXO

Leave me your lovely thoughts!
