Kid’s Academy’s Preschool and Kindergarten Learning Games. App Review

Even though I believe that real, healthy-normal play would be best for my girl and I try to keep it that way, I have to confess that I enjoy watching my girl while using the iPad because she is always watching educative videos or playing with educative apps.

She is only 2 1/2 years old and I couldn’t believe how good she is picking the videos and games she wants and they are really mostly educational. I find this great since I don’t know much about homeschooling.

My girl’s main language is Spanish and since we spent almost a year in Oman {Middle East} she has been exposed to English a lot. So, she counts to 11 better that in Spanish, she names the basic shapes in English and lots of words she knows are in English. She speaks like a 4 years old little girl instead of 2. So that’s why I got interest in reviewing this app.

What is Kid’s Academy’s Preschool and Kindergarten Learning Games?

This is an easy to navigate app created for preschoolers and kindergarteners and developed by Kid’s Academy. It’s based on the Montessori learning method where children can learn how to write, spell, read, count, recognize letters, numbers and sounds through fun games. It’s basically an app created to make education a fun activity letting children interact with it at their own pace.

This app teaches your kids in a fun and engaging way, how to trace shapes, number and letter and counting. And as they trace the shapes, numbers or letters they collect fireflies in a jar. These fun games also include number and alphabet recognition and letter-words sounds. The kids can also trace the alphabet as it introduces a word with a picture and the letter it starts with using delightful animations and frequent repetition designed to help them remember.

What I love the most is that the kids get rewarded for accuracy and every accomplishment they do while it improves a child’s fine motor skills, make them master letter sounds and phonics!

My Girl gets so excited when she traces the number or shapes, she jumps and smiles with such excitement!

Here is a couple of  video I took while she was playing. She still needs our help but she accomplishes many of the challenges by herself!

 In a few words…

I LOVE Kid’s Academy’s  Preschool and Kindergarten Learning Games. It’s a creative and great preschool supplement and educational resource. It’s an amazing learning app for young children. I plan on continue to use for a long time since my girl actually loves it too and she’s starting kindergarten next school year. I definitely think that every preschooler should have it.

With Kid’s Academy’s Preschool and Kindergarten Learning Games, your kids will have endless hours playing while learning.

You can get this at the iTunes App Store for free or the full app! and also available at amazon.

These look like so much fun. No matter how you look at it, kids need to know how to use electronics to survive in today’s busy world,. I love that their are educational apps like this rather than just games for entertainment.

I totally Agree… I don’t mind her spending hours in the iPad as long as she is learning something, I actually don’t have any game for only entertainment, and I also love playing educational videos. She specially loves one called Tutitu, it’s super cute and she has learned so much with it too. This App I love it because she get to trace which is great preparation for when she get to preschool and she also repeats everything!!!

Thanks so much for stopping by and leave some love!
      XOXO
