Hello everyone!. This Christmas is so crafty, isn’t it??? I’m loving all the crafty decoration I’ve made. Today I’m sharing how to make these 3 super cute Christmas trees made with cardstock, popcorn, yarn, and paper… Of course a lot of glue LOL.

3 in 1 Tutorial Popcorn, Yarn and Paper Crafty Christmas Trees #handmadechristmas #christmastree #christmasdecorationsThis is another craft you can easily make with kids. Great for motor skills, creativity and of course a fun time with them.

You will need:

  • White lettet or A4 cardstock
  • Yarn
  • Popcorns
  • Decorative wrapping paper
  • Buttons
  • Ribbon
  • Glue {I used hot glue, elmers glue and UHU glue LOL… uhmm and Spray mount too!}

I printed some cones patterns in different sizes and cut them manually. They don’t need to be perfect.  You can download the printable HERE.

For the yarn tree:

I wrapped the tree from the top to the bottom using Elmer’s glue and left a space of less that ½ inches {about 1 cm}.

I wrapped the bottom with a cute ribbon.

The I decorated it with different button shapes and colors with hot glue. I also made a cute bow with the same ribbon.

I placed a button star on the top of the tree and glued the bow.

One ready!!!!

For the paper tree:

I cut 4 strips {2 inch} of cute wrapping paper {2 different patterns} . I used the shortest side of the wrapping paper {20 inches}.

Then I fold them together in four.

I made cuts all along the folded paper.

Next I started to glue the paper. This time I started with the bottom. It’s easier.

On this process I made some creases so the paper can wrap the cone evenly and I made one layer of each pattern. I made this until I got the top. Then I added the button star an the bow.

Woot we have the second!!!

For the last but not least popcorn tree:

Spreading UHU in small areas I glued the popcorns from bottom to top. I tried to glue them as tight as I could.

When it was done. I sprayed some popcorns with the spray mount and I added some gold and red glitter and glued them with UHU glue to the tree.

Here you have it!!!!

Tadaaaaaa!!!! All 3 done!!! Super easy and super fun. They are quite decorative too!

What do you think have you done this before? I would love to hear another ideas!
